Founder/Owner/Operator of Happy Thoughts Fitness. Jesica was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has called Lancaster her home for over 29 years. Jesica is an only child and primary caretaker for both parents.
Jesica has been a well-respected, certified, active trainer within the community, and has a proven record of results for over 17 years. Her fitness knowledge and training skills are unmatched and utilized daily with her clients. Jesica’s clients range in age from 12 to 82. She enjoys assisting her clients discover the many benefits of strength training. Strength and resistance exercises preserve and build muscles while shedding fat. These forms of training also accelerate the metabolism, increase energy, and improve balance and flexibility.
Prior to opening her HT Fitness Training facility in Lancaster CA, Jesica taught group fitness classes at a few facilities before becoming a Master Trainer for The Camp Transformation Center (CTC) in Lancaster, CA, when they opened their doors to their new facility. She continued as Head Master Trainer from 2014 – 2015 and provided training for all new trainers that followed.
Jesica is a certified Zumba instructor licensed through Zumba LLC., and teaches one standard and three specialty Zumba classes; Zumba, Zumba Step, Zumba Strong, and Zumba kids respectively. Jesica choreographs specialized Zumba routines and continues to teach and lead several classes per week. In addition, she is also the primary instructor for the full slate of classes offered through her gym. These classes include Boxing, Booty-Work, Core & Abs, Speed & Agility, Power Lifting, small group specialized training classes as well as individual training, and preparation for Bikini competitions.
Jesica is also a certified Spartan trainer and has led hundreds of people, both adults and children, through Spartan courses from Spartan Sprint to Spartan Super to Spartan Beast. In the past five years Jesica has participated in over 100 races including 10 Trifectas, (5 in 1 year), a 12 hour Hurricane Heat, Spartan Ultra Beast, and qualified and completed the Spartan World Championship Race in Lake Tahoe.
Jesica also has a background in various sports, including NCAA college basketball (2007-2011) and the Lingerie Football League (2012-2013). Jesica has sponsored and participated in several annual fitness events and normally has one of the largest teams participating, such as: Grit OCR, and 5 Ragnar Relay Races. She has also completed the L.A. Marathon. She has participated in over 17 figure competitions; 6 at a national level, achieving 1st
place on 5 occasions, and a Best Overall Title. Jesica is ranked nationally and is actively pursuing her IFBB Pro League pro card for bodybuilding.
Jesica mentors many diverse groups from young to old. She sponsors summer youth curriculums including strength and conditioning, basketball skills, plyometric training, and basic functional training. Jesica mentors women pursuing a career in fitness and readies them for national fitness competitions. To date, she has mentored and entered 18 women into regional competitions, with ten achieving a Top 5 placement.
Jesica and HT fitness actively participate in our local community. HT Fitness is member of both the Lancaster and Hispanic Chamber and has held a Director position for two years with the latter.
HT Fitness is a regular participant in annual community events such as The Poppy Festival, The BOOlevard, AV Fitness Expo, AVTA Health Fair, and Dia De Los Muertos.
Jesica and HT Fitness provide several fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for local charities such as: Grace Resources, Secondhand Animals, Quartz Hill Little League, Girls on the Run, and Cure A Child.
Jesica’s goal is to provide education and awareness that will inspire and motivate you to have fun while attaining your health and fitness goals. Fitness is a lifestyle, it’s not easy and it is an ongoing process. It takes time to understand, apply, and master.
